Top Luxury Fashion Choices for Work Attire

Welcome!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. I’m Ruth and I’ll be curating outfits as an inspiration for any occasion. I’ve loved fashion since I was younger and I’ve been meaning to create a blog about it. In the past, I worked at fashion companies that are known worldwide. My love for fashion and styling never stopped even though I’m not a style consultant anymore.

Everyday Workwear

I’m starting off the blog with a series of Everyday Workwear since everyone needs some ideas on what to wear to work. At work, we have to wear clothes that are presentable and professional unless the workplace has a uniform for their employees. Personally, I had a hard time trying to find what to wear before I headed to work especially since I worked in fashion so my clothes had to be in season and on brand. There’s an unspoken rule that I’m not allowed to rewear the same outfit for at least a while which helped me practice different styles on myself.

Blacks and Blues

I think we can all agree that blacks are the essentials to looking professional in any workplace. My closet is full of black clothing pieces because it’s not only flattering, but it looks chic. One of the colors I like to complement with black clothing is blue. Combining both colors automatically makes me think of a professional or formal environment. The hues of blue has to be dark and/or bold not bright like pastel. If it’s a pastel color, it can look semi-professional, but not as formal as the darker shades.

Vest: Yves Saint Laurent

YSL Vest In Grain De Poudre | $1350

I like how vests are versatile and can be used as a top or a jacket. In this case, I imagined the vest to be used as a top. I love the grain detail that YSL added to this top. It looks so luxurious even by looking at it. The cut makes it look chic instead of baggy, but the V-neck might be too low for some people so I would recommend wearing a shirt underneath to cover the area that’s being exposed. YSL added an adjuster on the back side of the vest so you can make the vest fit better to your body.

Pants: Loewe

Loewe Trousers In Wool | $1950

How cute are these trousers?! I love it so much I just had to feature it! The combination of the pants and the skirt had me falling in love with it at first sight. I’m in love with the details Loewe added with the pleated style and lining. I love how they chose to make this in a dark blue color because it shows the details of the pattern more than it would’ve if it was black. Can’t decide whether to wear a skirt or pants to work tomorrow? Why not wear something that has both? You get the best of both worlds!

Coat: Cinzia Rocca

Cinzia Rocca Envelope Collar Wool-Cashmere Coat | $1040

I love a great fall and winter coat and this one doesn’t disappoint. The cut of this coat looks so sophisticated and it’s bound to match multiple outfits. You can reuse this coat every work day while staying warm and cozy during your commute to work. This coat can be used for formal and semi-formal events as well. Personally, I love the A-line silhouette and the neck lining of this coat by Cinzia Rocca.

Bag: Chanel

Chanel Boy Handbag Grained Calfskin & Gold-Tone Metal Black Large | $7300

One of my favorite brands and one of my favorite bags. I love this Chanel boy bag in any color, but if you get it in black with any color of hardware, it looks so professional and it elevates any work outfits. This bag can be used on a night out too since it has that edgy and fun design that’s a modern twist to the classic flap. I always use my Chanel bags whenever formal attire is required because it looks so sophisticated with any outfit.

Shoes: Valentino

Valentino Garavani Heritage Ankle Boots in Calfskin 90MM | $1390

Valentino makes some of the most iconic designs and this one is one of them. I’m in love with the vlogo attached and carved to the heel. It looks so classy yet modern. It’s one of those boots you can dress up and dress down with. You can wear these with almost any outfit because it’s one of those shoes that’s an essential to the wardrobe.

Belt: Hermès

Hermès Kelly 18 Belt | $1200

Does this belt even need an introduction? If you’re into Hermès, you probably own this belt already so why not add it to your work outfit for the week? This belt is one size and can be adjusted according to your shape. It’s available in gold, palladium, and rose gold hardware. They have multiple colors for this belt, but black is the one that looks the most professional. The iconic Kelly closure is my favorite part of this design.

Necklace: Argento Vivo

Argento Vivo Sterling Silver Circle Link Necklace | $68

I like to find new designers to feature for accessories and I stumbled upon this unique Argento Vivo necklace. I love the gold and silver design intertwined in between. The concept is beautiful. It reminds me of marriage how two different people are linked and joined together to become one. I love how the shape of the circle is raw-edged instead of uniformed. It makes each circle look unique from each other. It’s a subtle, but fun necklace to wear to work.

Earrings: Polène

Polène Éole Wavy Hoop Earrings | $230

These Polène earrings are a good match to the Argento Vivo necklace I mentioned above. Polène featured a unique shape and design to these earrings. It looks elegant especially with each layer of the metal overlaying on top of each other. If you like hoop earrings, these are a classy option to add to your work attire.
